In honor of Banned Books Week, the podcast about censorship in theatre will feature performances by Bryan Cranston, Raúl Esparza, Celia Keenan Bolger, and more.

Dramatists Legal Defense Fund (DLDF) is presenting special podcast Banned Together: An Anti-Censorship Podcast, available for download through September 24.

The podcast features songs, scenes, and monologues that American communities have banned or censored, including Branden Jacobs-JenkinsAn Octoroon, Paula Vogel's Indecent, Alice ChildressTrouble in Mind, Tony Kushner's Angels in America, Jonathan Larson's Rent, V's The Vagina Monologues, Moisés Kaufman's The Laramie Project, Elaine Romero's Fat Free Chicana and Snow Cap Queen, Lisa Kron and Jeanine Tesori's Fun Home, Nilo Cruz's Anna in the Tropics, and Rachel Corrie's My Name is Rachel Corrie, edited by Alan Rickman and Katharine Viner.

Emmy winner Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad), four-time Tony nominee Raúl Esparza (Leap of Faith, Company), Tony winner Celia Keenan-Bolger (To Kill a Mockingbird), Tony nominee Richard Kind (Curb Your EnthusiamThe Big Knife), Tony winner Lisa Kron (Fun Home, Well), The Stonewall Chorale, and more star in the podcast's performances. Greg Jarrett (Assassins, The Cradle Will Rock) serves as music director. Hosting the podcast are DLDF board members Lydia Diamond (Stick Fly, Smart People) and Cheryl Davis.
