The encore Off-Broadway run of the Stranger Things parody musical Stranger Sings!, which played its final performance Off-Broadway at Playhouse 46 at St. Luke's in May, has announced it will be available to stream once again. New streaming dates have been announced for July 1 and 15.

Stranger Sings! will be available in the United States at 7 PM ET and 7 PM PT, as well as at 7 PM BST (British Summer Time), and 7 PM AEST (Australian Eastern Standard Time). Audiences will be able to tune in and also interact with other fans via a simultaneous live chat. The live capture was previously streamed in May following the end of the Off-Broadway encore run. Virtual tickets begin at $19.99.

“This is a tremendous opportunity to support the theatre community. Live captures give fans around the world a chance to experience some of the best theatre from their own homes while watching at the same time as thousands of others,” said Executive Producer Jason Turchin. “While this is not intended to replace live performance, live-streaming and captures can give access to professional theatre to communities and students around the world who don’t had the ability to experience it live."

Jonathan Hogue penned the book, music, and lyrics for the production, which is set in Hawkins, Indiana, in 1983 when times were simpler, hair was bigger, and unsupervised children were getting snatched by inter-dimensional creatures.

The creative team also included scenic designer Walt Spangler, costume designer Matthew Solomon, lighting designer Jamie Roderick, co-sound designers Germán Martínez and Cosette Pin, puppet designer Matt Anderson, prop supervisor Brendan McCann, and production stage manager Alex Dash. The 4K live capture of Stranger Sings! The Parody Musical is executive-produced by Sue Gilad, Larry Rogowsky, Jonathan Hogue, Nick Flatto, and Jason Turchin, along with video producers John Andrews, Dave Marken, and Parrish Smith.

The original production was produced by Sue Gilad, Larry Rogowsky, Nick Flatto, and Jonathan Hogue with co-producers Catherine Schreiber, Bard Theatricals, Miranda Farag, Inbal and Ron Gonen, Xin Wen, and Jason Turchin/Jim Kierstead. Joseph Longthorne is an associate producer.
