The encore Off-Broadway run of the Stranger Things parody musical Stranger Sings!, which played its final performance at Off-Broadway's Playhouse 46 at St. Luke's May 7, will now stream an additional day.

Originally scheduled to stream May 27 at 7 PM and 10 PM ET, the recent production will now also be available to view May 28 at 2 PM ET.

The cast features Jamir Brown as Lucas, Shawn Smith as Hopper, Jeremiah Garcia as Dustin, Caroline Huerta as Joyce/Will, Jeffrey Laughrun as Mike, Garrett Paladin as Steve/Jonathan, Harley Seger as Eleven/Nancy, and SLee as Barb.

Nick Flatto reprised his direction from the 2021 Off-Broadway run for the recent return engagement, reuniting with original music director, orchestrator, and arranger Michael Kaish and choreographer Ashley Marinelli.

Jonathan Hogue penned the book, music, and lyrics for the production, which is set in Hawkins, Indiana, in 1983 when times were simpler, hair was bigger, and unsupervised children were getting snatched by inter-dimensional creatures.

“For the last year of our run Off-Broadway, we’ve had audiences from all over the world clamoring for a pro-shot so they can experience this hilarious new musical from the comfort of their homes,” said Stranger Sings! creator Hogue and director Flatto in an earlier joint statement. “Now, we are thrilled to present this beautiful 4k seven-camera pro-shot that captures the kinetic hilarity of our immersive in-the-round production at Playhouse 46. Featuring our original Off-Broadway cast, we can’t wait to offer fans of the Netflix series a new ‘upside down’ take on their favorite characters, and offer some exclusive behind-the-scenes access for VIP ticket buyers.”

The work had its world premiere at 54 Below in 2018, and subsequently played Off-Broadway's The Players Theatre in summer 2021. The 2021 original cast recording is available on all major platforms.

The creative team also includes scenic designer Walt Spangler, costume designer Matthew Solomon, lighting designer Jamie Roderick, co-sound designers Germán Martínez and Cosette Pin, puppet designer Matt Anderson, prop supervisor Brendan McCann, production stage manager Alex Dash, and assistant stage managers Kaitlyn Merriam and Lara Sato. The production is cast by Zachary Spiegel.

The live capture of Stranger Sings! The Parody Musical is executive-produced by Sue Gilad, Larry Rogowsky, Jonathan Hogue, Nick Flatto, and Jason Turchin, along with video producers John Andrews, Dave Marken, and Parrish Smith.

The original production was produced by Sue Gilad, Larry Rogowsky, Nick Flatto, and Jonathan Hogue with co-producers Catherine Schreiber, Bard Theatricals, Miranda Farag, Inbal and Ron Gonen, Xin Wen, and Jason Turchin/Jim Kierstead. Joseph Longthorne is an associate producer.
