New Wolsey Theatre and Wiltshire Creative, in association with Yvonne Arnaud Theatre, will present a U.K. tour of Noël Coward's Brief Encounter, adapted for the stage by Emma Rice

Brief Encounter will run March 31-April 22 at Salisbury Playhouse with opening night set for April 4. The production will subsequently play New Wolsey Theatre, Yvonne Arnaud Theatre, Theatre Royal Bury St. Edmunds, and Northern Stage.

Directed by Douglas Rintoul, the cast will feature Nicola Bryan as Myrtle Bagot, Hanora Kamen as Laura Jesson, Jammy Kasongo as Dr. Alec Harvey, Samuel Morgan-Grahame as Albert Godby, Tom Self as Fred Jesson/Stephen Lynn, Lucy Elizabeth Thorburn as Beryl, Luke Thornton as Stanley, and Chioma Uma as Dolly Messiter.

The love story follows a married doctor and a suburban housewife whose chance encounter at a train station's tearoom sparks a love fair that asks if love is worth risking everything for.

The production will also have choreography by Alexzandra Sarmiento and music direction, orchestration, and additional music composed by Tom Self.

Also serving on the tour's creative team are lighting designer Jessie Addinall, sound designer James Cook, set and costume designer Jess Curtis, video designer Daniel Denton, and wardrobe supervisor Margaret Lock. Casting is by Debbie O’Brien.
