Casting has been announced for the upcoming Broadway production of A Beautiful Noise, The Neil Diamond Musical, set to begin previews November 2 ahead of a December 4 opening night at the Broadhurst Theatre.
Tony nominee Will Swenson will lead the company as singer-songwriter Neil Diamond-Then, with Tony nominee Mark Jacoby as Neil Diamond-Now, Tony nominee Robyn Hurder as Marcia, and Linda Powell as Doctor, all reprising their roles from the bio-musical's pre-Broadway engagement at Boston's Emerson Colonial Theatre this summer.
The ensemble includes Kalonjee Gallimore, Alex Hairston, Jess LeProtto, Tatiana Lofton, Aaron James McKenzie, Mary Page Nance, Max Sangerman, and MiMi Scardulla, with Ninako Donville, Samantha Gershman, Makai Hernandez, and Robert Pendilla as swings.
Neal Benari will serve as the standby for Neil Diamond-Now and Nick Fradiani as Alternate Neil Diamond-Then. Swenson will play a schedule of seven performances per week with Fradiani stepping in for Wednesday evening performances.

A Beautiful Noise takes a look at the life of the Grammy-winning Rock & Roll Hall of Famer, then and now, accompanied by hits from his decades-long career in popular music, such as "Sweet Caroline," "America," and "Cracklin’ Rosie."
Also featured on the creative team are choreographer Steven Hoggett and book writer Anthony McCarten, with scenic designer David Rockwell, costume designer Emilio Sosa, lighting designer Kevin Adams, sound designer Jessica Paz, and hair and wig designer Luc Verschueren. Music supervision and arrangements are by Sonny Paladino with incidental music and dance music arrangements by Brian Usifer, vocal design by AnnMarie Milazzo, and orchestrations by Bob Gaudio, Sonny Paladino, and Brian Usifer.
