Per People Magazine, Tony winner Aaron Tveit and his fianceé, dancer Ericka Yang, have welcomed their first child.
The duo, who met in the original company of Broadway's Moulin Rouge!, welcomed a daughter in November. Tveit was characteristically tight lipped when speaking to People, stating that "We couldn't be happier she's finally here, and we're full of gratitude during this holiday season."
A professional dancer, Yang began her New York career as a Rockette before transitioning to Broadway, where she has performed in Some Like It Hot, Miss Saigon, American Psycho, Doctor Zhivago, Rock of Ages, Flower Drum Song, and 42nd Street in addition to Moulin Rouge!.
Tveit is one of the most popular Broadway leading men of his generation, having appeared on stage in Hairspray, Wicked, Next to Normal, Catch Me If You Can, Sweeney Todd, and Moulin Rouge!, winning a Tony for his performance as the hopeless romantic Christian in the latter.
