The New York Off-Broadway premiere follows a Palestinian family through two alternate realities.

On May 15, The Vagrant Trilogy by Mona Mansour will complete its Off-Broadway premiere at The Public. The show soft-opened May 10, with reviews following.

Adham, a scholar who goes to London in 1967 with his wife, is faced with a decision of what to do when war breaks out back home in Palestine. His decision is played out in two alternate realities in the second and third parts of the play, directed by Obie Award-winner Mark Wing-Davey.

Starring in the show are Tala Ashe as Abir, Ramsey Faragallah as Ghassan, Osh Ashruf as Hamzi, Nadine Malouf as Jamile, Rudy Roushdi as Jul, and Hadi Tabbal as Adham. Bassam Abdelfattah, Nuah Ozryel, and Caitlin Nasema Cassidy are understudies. The cast returns after being originally brought on for the 2020 run at The Public.

Originally slated to run in 2020, the production was cancelled days before its first performance due to the pandemic shutdown. Along with the cast, the creative team announced for the 2020 run have also returned for its long-awaited run.

The creative team includes scenic designer Allen Moyer, costume designer Dina El-Aziz, lighting designer Reza Behjat, sound designers Tye Hunt Fitzgerald and Sinan Refik Zafar, and video designer Greg Emetaz. Hair, wig, and make-up design is by Tom Watson, with Susan Barras and Alexander Wylie serving as prop managers, Caroline Englander as production stage manager, and Luisa Sánchez Colón as stage manager.
