Olivier winner Nathaniel Parker will star in Alan Brody’s award-winning play Operation Epsilon at London's Southwark Playhouse Elephant later this autumn. Opening September 20, the production will begin previews September 15 and run through October 21.

Directed by Andy Sandberg, the acclaimed play is based on the historical transcripts from Germany's ten foremost nuclear scientists who were held captive in England at the end of World War II to determine Nazi Germany's progress toward building an atomic bomb. Operation Epsilon first premiered in the United States in 2013.

In addition to Parker, who plays the father of nuclear fission, Otto Hahn, the company will include Nicholas Armfield as Horst Korsching, Jamie Bogyo as Carl Friederich von Weizsäcker, Simon Bubb as Major T.H. Rittner, Simon Chandler as Max von Laue, Matthew Duckett as Erich Bagge, Jake Mann as Karl Wirtz, Peter Prentice as Paul Harteck, Leighton Pugh as Walter Gerlach, Simon Rhodes as Kurt Diebner, and Gyuri Sarossy as Werner Heisenberg. 

The creative team consists of set designer Janie Howland, costume designer Beth Colley, lighting designer Clancy Flynn, sound designer Chris Drohan, original music composer Dewey Dellay, and casting director Lucy Casson. Operation Epsilon is produced by Ellen Berman.
