A Beautiful Noise: The Neil Diamond Musical has raised and donated $500,000 to the Parkinson's Foundation in honor of the show's subject, singer-songwriter Neil Diamond. Following the Broadway musical's April 11 curtain call, the cast revealed the final total from A Beautiful Noise's fundraising efforts and a check was presented by co-producers Jonathan Corr and Sandi Moran to Parkinson’s Foundation President and CEO John L. Lehr.

A Beautiful Noise has not only created a wonderful show honoring the legacy of Neil Diamond, but it has also raised awareness and funds to make the world a better place for people with Parkinson’s disease,” said Lehr. “We are grateful for the generosity shown by the producers and all who support our important mission.”

The biomusical takes a look at the life of the Grammy-winning Rock & Roll Hall of Famer, then and now. Featuring hits from Diamond's decades-long career in popular music like "Sweet Caroline" and "America," the show's songs are all written or co-written by Neil Diamond with orchestrations by Bob Gaudio, Sonny Paladino, and Brian Usifer. The book is by Anthony McCarten. After a Parkinson's diagnosis, Diamond retired from concert touring in 2018.

A Beautiful Noise co-producer Adam Riemer also shared what fundraising for Parkinson's Foundation meant to him. “My mom, Stepheny, always said, ‘If you are creative, you will never be bored.’ Her imagination and optimism stayed intact, even after being diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2007,” said Riemer. “Shortly after her passing, I was presented with the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to join the producing team of A Beautiful Noise. I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who contributed to this important cause in honor of my mom, Neil Diamond, and all those impacted by PD.”

The funds raised by the Broadway show will help the Foundation continue providing increased access to high-quality care, research opportunities, and critical resources for those living with Parkinson's. A Beautiful Noise continues to run at the Broadhurst Theatre where it began previews November 2, 2022 and opened December 4.
