The Alicia Keys musical continues at the Shubert Theatre.

Wicked star Jessica Vosk joins Broadway's Hell's Kitchen as Jersey December 12 at the Shubert Theatre. Vosk succeeds original cast member Shoshana Bean, who played her final performance December 1. Standby Donna Vivino played the role in the interim, and departed the production December 11. Though it should be noted that Vosk will not be in Hell's Kitchen December 20 and 21 as she had a previously scheduled concert at Carnegie Hall.

Hell's Kitchen features music and lyrics by Keys and a book by Kristoffer Diaz. Inspired by the 15-time Grammy winner's life, the story centers on 17-year-old Ali and her mother, sharing a cramped apartment near Times Square. Ali wants to live out her NYC dream, but Mom is scared her daughter will repeat her own mistakes.

The musical officially opened at the Shubert Theatre April 20 after beginning previews March 28—read the reviews here. Michael Greif directs the work, which features choreography by Camille A. Brown.

The current cast stars Tony winner Maleah Joi Moon as Ali, Brandon Victor Dixon (Hamilton) as Davis, Tony winner Kecia Lewis (Ain't Misbehavin') as Miss Liza Jane, and Phillip Johnson Richardson as Knuck. Casting is by Heidi Griffiths and Kate Murray.
