The Fireside Theatre (Fort Atkinson, WI) is holding an open call for non-equity dancers for their production of Disney’s THE LITTLE MERMAID; Book: Doug Wright; Music: Alan Menken; Lyrics: Howard Ashman, Glenn Slater; Director: Heather Patterson King – will attend; Musical Director: Mary Ehlinger; Choreographer: Kristyn Pope – will attend; Producer: Ed Flesch – will attend.

We will hold a live in-person audition on Friday, April 25, 2025 at Open Jar Studios, 1601 Broadway, 11^th floor. This audition is by appointment only. To secure an audition appointment send your dance reel and your headshot and resume to auditions2@firesidetheatre.com. Put “Dancer” on the subject line of your email. Submissions must be received no later than 5:00PM EST on April 19, 2025.

PERFORMERS OF ALL ETHNICITIES, PHYSICAL TYPES, GENDER IDENTITIES, AND AGES ARE ENCOURAGED TO SUBMIT MATERIALS.

Seeking very strong dancers who sing and act well. Will play a variety of ensemble roles. Some ensemble members will cover principal roles. Bring character shoes and ballet shoes. Some dancers may be asked to sing after everyone has danced. Bring a 16-bar cutting in the style of the show. Singing from the show is fine.
