Wishing Star is seeking only Non-AEA performers for Curious George: The Golden Meatball.

We are seeking a cast with fantastic singing, acting and dancing abilities to play principal and supporting roles (breakdown below.)

Please note housing will not be provided for the Rehearsal Process in the Dallas Fort Worth area.

SYNOPSIS

Join Curious George, the lovable and inquisitive monkey from books, movies, and the award-winning PBS show, in a brand-new musical adventure! Curious George: The Golden Meatball TYA is an engaging production designed for young audiences, filled with music, fun, and excitement. George eagerly awaits All-You-Can-Eat Meatball Day, helping his friend Chef Pisghetti prepare delicious meatballs. But when Phinneas T. Lightspeed’s Meatball-o-Matic steals the crowd, Chef Pisghetti loses hope. Determined to help, George sets off on a journey to enter Pisghetti’s meatballs in the world-famous Golden Meatball Contest in Rome. With thrilling adventures, delightful songs, and important lessons, George learns about Rome, cooking, and the secret ingredient to a perfect dish!

PROPOSED SCHEDULE - SUBJECT TO CHANGE

Rehearsals/Tech: Mid to Late September (DFW)

Tour - Part 1: Early October to Mid November (Ends before Thanksgiving)

Tour - Part 2: Mid January to Late April

Must have an up to date passport and no criminal record - Touring to Canada that has very strict travel policies

You must be available for the entire tour to audition. No conflicts will be accepted.

CONTRACT

Non-Union: $700, $100 per diem (Can be negotiated based on role and willingness to assist with production/tech on tour)

Housing on Tour provided
