About Broadway Dreams: Broadway Dreams is a leading not-for-profit arts education organization dedicated to preparing the next generation of performing arts professionals through uniquely immersive training, mentorship, and performance opportunities with teaching artists sourced directly from the Broadway community. Broadway Dreams conducts year-round programming around the United States and internationally, including an annual North American summer tour of weeklong intensives in up to 12 cities each year.


Position Summary: The Company Manager oversees day-to-day management of in-person and virtual programming throughout the year. Programming includes Broadway Dream’s summer tour, international programs, Winter, Spring and Fall Classroom series, workshops and masterclasses as scheduled, and an annual New York Showcase. Company Manager will also provide administrative support for major fundraising events including an annual New York Gala.


This position reports to both the Executive Director and General Manager and provides support in scheduling, reporting, customer service, marketing, and record-keeping, as well as management of the ACTIVE registration database. Company Manager acts as primary coordinator between students, parents, and teaching artists.

This position is semi work-from-home, with some time spent in the NYC office, and travel for the summer tour and as needed throughout the year.


This position is ideal for an energetic and determined arts professional interested in all aspects of the entertainment business and eager to travel extensively both domestically and internationally.

Primary Responsibilities:


Administrative/Finance:

- Creation and maintenance of shared production documents, master lists, agendas, and organizational skills

- Oversight of ACTIVE registration database, including monthly reconciliation of registration reports

- Work with General Manager on light bookkeeping, tracking reimbursements, preparation for quarterly meetings, and tracking and monitoring of program budgets
- Collaborative participation in meetings and strategy sessions, including note-taking as required
- Oversee the intake of scholarship applications and assist in the awarding and tracking of program scholarships
- Monitor general company inbox and answer or delegate emails and other inquiries from parents, partners, and other outside parties
- Provide assistance to Broadway Dreams Board of Directors and Board Committees as necessary


Programming / Production:

- Work with Executive Director and Artistic Director on planning and execution of programming, including coordination of travel and accommodation for teaching artists

- Serve as on-the-ground coordinator for most in-person programming, including as primary point of contact for traveling teaching artists as well as venues and hotels, and the creation and distribution of daily schedules
- Assist in executing in-person casting sessions in each city

- Support stage manager(s) and technical director(s) in managing production logistics
- Serve as remote coordinator for all virtual programming
- Supervision of interns as necessary


Outreach / Marketing:
- Attend festivals, conferences, and other outreach/promotion opportunities as necessary to spread awareness
- Coordinate with Videographer and Social Media Manager throughout the year on the creation and production of photo and video assets for promotional use
- Creative collaboration with Executive Director and Marketing Director on development and execution of marketing and promotion strategies
- Assist Executive Director as necessary with professional casting opportunities


Preferred Qualifications:
- Pursuing a degree in Arts Administration or Stage Management OR 1-3 years experience in professional production office, stage management, or arts administration environment
- Strong administrative and communication skills, with fluency in Google suite and Microsoft Office and attention to detail in matters of record keeping.
- Familiarity with any registration database (ACTIVE or other) and accounting software (QBO or other) is a plus
- Highly organized, creative, self-motivated, supportive, and collaborative personality
- Enthusiastic willingness to travel (must have a valid passport)
