Industry readings of Vape! The Grease Parody, a send-up of the long-running Broadway hit, will be presented November 22 at Theater 555.

Directed by Jack Plotnick, the readings will feature Tony nominee Kerry Butler (Xanadu) as Sandy, James Carpinello (Little Shop of Horrors) as Danny, Tony nominee Leslie Rodriguez Kritzer (Beetlejuice) as Marty, Tamika Lawrence (The Heart of Rock and Roll) as Frenchie, Tony winner Beth Leavel (The Drowsy Chaperone) as Rizzo, Tony winner Bonnie Milligan (Kimberly Akimbo) as Jan/Putzie, Joel Perez (Fun Home) as Kenickie, and Jelani Remy (Back to the Future) as Sonny/Cha Cha/Tom.

Vape! The Grease Parody is written by Catie Hogan and Sketchworks Comedy with lyrics and additional material by Billy Recce and Danny Salles. Seth Rudetsky serves as a creative consultant with musical direction and arrangements by Lena Gabrielle.

Brent Michael Jones is the stage manager, and Mark Osgood is the assistant stage manager. Vape! is general managed by Visceral Entertainment.

After a two-and-a-half year legal battle, Vape! was legally declared a parody by the Southern District of New York.
