Please prepare two contrasting contemporary monologues; two contrasting musical pieces to be considered for FIRST DATE.

If you are unable to attend the in-person EPA, we are accepting video submissions. We will accept submissions until April 4th. Local EPA auditions will be scheduled during the first week of April. Email info@Chenangorivertheatre.org to schedule an appointment. All rehearsals and performances will be in Greene, NY.

An Equity Monitor will not be provided. The producer will run all aspects of this audition.

SEEKING:

Trisha – 30s- former best friend of the bride, cynical about marriage and romance.

Meredith – sister of the bride, early 20s, precocious and rebellious, hiding a darker secret.

Mindy – late 20s/early 30s, wisecracking lesbian sister of the groom.

Georgette – friend of the bride, trapped in a disappointing marriage and yearning for something better.

Frances – early 20s sheltered religious cousin of the bride

Tripp – late 20s/early 30s groomsman, charming, observant, and persistent.

FIRST DATE

Book by Austin Winsberg, Music and Lyrics by Alan Zachary and Michael Weiner

Rehearsals start June 23rd,

Performing July 11th – August 3rd

SEEKING:

Aaron – (male) 20s-30s Tenor line, likeable but nervous energy, never been on a blind date before.

Casey – (female) 20s-30s Wide vocal range, sassy and tender, big personality
