DESCRIPTION

Need black actors/musicians for a Black History Month event hosted at the Elmont Public Library on Feburary 20, 2025.

Requirements:

-Must be able to play an instrument of any kind (singing is a plus but not required)
-Must be available on the 2/20 show date
-Must have a reliable source of transportation to travel to Elmont, NY and rehearsals
-This is a show is a collaborative effort (your input and ideas are required)
-Must be comfortable with solo performances (need 1-2 actors total)

Plan is to rehearse about 1x a week for about 5 weeks. Show time runs about 40-45mins.

Performers will be paid a $50 travel stipend for travel on 2/20 (price subject to change depending on distance/location of peformer(s) + $70/gig = $120
