A private, invite-only industry reading of Ghost Tour, a new work from Gordon Greenberg (Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors), is being held at Ars Nova in NYC January 8. Adam Kantor (Rent, The Band's Visit) will star.
The solo play follows a tour guide at a haunted, historic theatre in one of the most terrifying places on earth, Florida. Barrington Stage Artistic Director Alan Paul is directing.
Director-playwright Greenberg recently helmed a London revival of The Baker's Wife at Menier Chocolate Factory and the Huey Lewis jukebox musical The Heart of Rock and Roll on Broadway. His Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors played engagements Off-Broadway and in Los Angeles, and is headed for London's Menier Chocolate Factory. Current projects also include directing and co-writing (with Stephen Schwartz) a musical about Picasso, Single White Female, Seven Shakespeares, The Wedding Banquet, and Crime and Punishment, A Comedy.
