International News West End's SIX Resumes Performances Starring Current Queens July 2

Performances at the Vaudeville Theatre were suspended for a filming of the musical with the musical's original West End cast.

The current cast of West End's SIX: The Musical returns to the Vaudeville Theatre stage July 2 after a brief suspension of performances for filming

Donning their crowns once again, Amy Di Bartolomeo stars as Catherine of Aragon, Amanda Lindgren as Anne Boleyn, Claudia Kariuki as Jane Seymour, Dionne Ward-Anderson as Anna of Cleaves, Tsemaye Bob-Egbe as Katherine Howard, and Meesha Turner as Catherine Parr backed by the all-female, on-stage band Ladies in Waiting. 

Serving as alternates for the production are Paisley Billings, Danielle Rose, Roxanne Couch, Rachel Rawlinson, and Esme Rothero. The show originally debuted in the West End in 2018 and switched theatres during the pandemic before settling at the Vaudeville Theatre.

The current cast stepped aside for the original West End cast to reunite for a filming of the Tudor pop musical, directed by Liz Clare, June 27-July 1, with a live performance with an audience held on the final night. The Olivier-nominated queens include Jarnéia Richard-Noel, Millie O’Connell, Natalie Paris, Alexia McIntosh, Aimie Atkinson, and Maiya Quansah-Breed.

2022 marks a big year for SIX, whichwon two Tony Awards, celebrated 1,000 performances in the West End, and reunited the original West End queens for three outdoor concert performances at Hampton Court Palace. The musical also launched two North American tours in addition to its ongoing tours of the U.K. and Australia and New Zealand. It also has two productions on Norwegian Cruise Lines.
