Playbill Goes Fringe Video: See the Jaw-Dropping YOAH at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe

This show from Japan's Cirquework combines circus arts and techno.

The Edinburgh Festival Fringe is the biggest arts festival in the world, with over 3,700 shows. This year, Playbill is in Edinburgh for the festival, and we’re taking you with us. Follow along as we cover every single aspect of the Fringe, aka our real-life Brigadoon!

A big plus of going to the Edinburgh Fringe is being able to see shows from artists around the world, who all gather in Scotland to show off the best and most innovative work. Playbill was lucky enough to see Japan’s most-talked-about contemporary circus company, Cirquework. And our videographer Ethan Treiman was able to get a close-up look at their show YOAH, which combines acrobatics, techno, and digital visual effects to create a truly jaw-dropping experience.

Watch the exclusive footage in the video above.

YOAH runs at Underbelly's Circus Hub though August 18. Click here for tickets.
