Six-time Emmy nominee Tituss Burgess (Schmigadoon!) and Tony winner Jane Krakowski (Schmigadoon!, Nine) star in Center of the YOUniverse, a new show running for three nights only at Off-Broadway's Minetta Lane Theatre. Presented by Audible Theater, it plays July 27-29.
Burgess and Krakowski attempt to upstage each other and steal the spotlight in a double-booking. Through a blend of song and storytelling, they’ll stop at nothing until they realize their talents can be put to better use uniting the world. The two will clash and collaborate with dueling vocals as they sing both pop and theatrical duets.
Tony winner Christopher Gattelli (Schmigadoon!, Newsies) directs with support from the creative team's scenic designer Riw Rakkulchon, lighting designer Jeff Croiter, sound designer Brian Ronan, and music director Dan Garmon.
Technical supervision for the production is by Hudson Theatrical Associates with general management by Baseline Theatrical’s Andy Jones & Jonathan Whitton.
Center of the YOUniverse will be recorded live and released on Audible at a later date. It was originally scheduled to run June 15-17.
