Ramin Karimloo and Celinde Schoenmaker, who starred in the U.K. concert premiere of the Doctor Zhivago musical in September 2019, will reprise their roles in a May 7, 2023, concert of the 2015 Broadway musical at the London Palladium.

Tony nominee Karimloo (Funny Girl, Les Misérables) will again play Yurii Andreyevich Zhivago with Schoenmaker (Les Misérables, The Phantom of the Opera) as Lara Guishar. Additional casting will be announced.

Jordan Murphy (Sunset Boulevard, Matilda) will direct the concert with musical direction by Adam Hoskins (The Secret Garden, Camelot).

Based on the Nobel Prize-winning novel by Boris Pasternak, Doctor Zhivago concerns Yurii Andreyevich Zhivago, a political idealist, physician, and poet whose life is tossed by the tides of history as he is torn between a life with his close childhood friend and wife, and the passionate and mysterious Lara Guishar.

Written by Oscar nominee Michael Weller, the show features music by two-time Grammy winner and Tony nominee Lucy Simon, with lyrics by Tony nominee Michael Korie and Emmy nominee Amy Powers.

Doctor Zhivago—In Concert is produced by Lambert Jackson and Positive Sum Productions.
