Stage and screen star Brooke Shields, seen on Broadway in Grease, The Addams Family, Cabaret, Wonderful Town, and more, plays the Café Carlyle beginning September 12.
The engagement, which continues through September 23, marks the premiere of Previously Owned by Brooke Shields.
Directed by Nate Patten, the new act is co-written by Patten and Shields with music direction and arrangements by Charlie Alterman. Matthew Sklar and Amanda Green provided special material.
Paradise Square Tony winner Joaquina Kalukango will follow, making her Carlyle debut September 26-30. Her new show, spotlighting artists who have influenced her over the years as well as tunes from her favorite Broadway shows, will feature musical direction by Michael Orland.
Tony winner Patina Miller, most recently seen on Broadway as the Witch in the Tony-nominated revival of Into the Woods, will offer An Evening with Patina October 11-14. In addition to her Tony-winning turn in Pippin, Miller has also been seen on Broadway in the musical adaptation of Sister Act.
The fall season will also feature Cuban-born singer-songwriter Peter Cincotti (October 3–7), John Pizzarelli and Jessica Molaskey (October 17–28), Herb Alpert and Lani Hall (November 14–25), and Gavin DeGraw (December 12–16).
