In the Heights and Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda joins Michelle Obama, Dr. Anthony Fauci, Jennifer Hudson, Matthew McConaughey, and more in Roll Up Your Sleeves April 18. The TV special airs 7 PM ET on NBC.
Hosted by NFL pro Russell Wilson and Grammy winner Ciara, the program aims to encourage the American public to get the COVID-19 vaccine and bring an end to a pandemic that has lasted over a year, crippling industries and resulting in over 2.8 million deaths worldwide. President Joe Biden will appear to directly plead that everyone that can make plans to get vaccinated.

During the program, Miranda and Michelle Obama will be joined by special guests like Jennifer Lopez and Faith Hill to educate audiences on the vaccine and other ways to help Americans move past the public health crisis. Former President Barack Obama will also appear alongside Charles Barkley and Shaquille O’Neal in a similar segment.

McConaughey will interview Dr. Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and chief medical advisor to the President, who has remained one of the most prominent public figures guiding Americans through the measures required to avoid the spread of COVID-19.
In addition, Roll Up Your Sleeves will feature comedy acts, real-life stories, and more, with Sterling K. Brown, Lana Condor, Billy Crystal, Eric Dane, Ryan Eggold, Dr. Vin Gupta, Dale Jarrett, Ken Jeong, Joe Jonas, Eva Longoria, Demi Lovato, Matthew McConaughey, Joel McHale, Kumail Nanjiani, Ellen Pompeo, Amanda Seyfried, Jane Seymour, and Wanda Sykes all slated to appear.
