The Boston Symphony Orchestra's annual Fourth of July event, Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular, returns to the Hatch Shell on the Charles River Esplanade July 4, 8-11 PM.
Marking 50 years since fireworks were added to the free musical celebration of Independence Day, the evening features Keith Lockhart conducting the Boston Pops.
The famed orchestra is joined by Tony winner and 2024 Tony nominee Kelli O'Hara (Days of Wine and Roses, The King and I), Darlene Love (Carrie, Hairspray), The Mavericks, and the Singing Sergeants from the United States Air Force Band.

The 2024 Fireworks Spectacular includes the Pops playing patriotic favorites, closing with Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture, followed by a fireworks display over the Charles River beginning at 10:30 PM.
