The previously announced Off-Broadway return of Tennessee WilliamsCat On a Hot Tin Roof will star Cobra Kai star Courtney Henggeler, making her Off-Broadway and NYC stage debut as Maggie. Presented by Ruth Stage, previews begin February 24, 2023, at the Theatre at St. Clement's, with opening night set for March 5. The run will continue through March 31.

Returning from the run earlier this year is Matt de Rogatis, reprising his performance as Brick. Joe Rosario is back at the helm, with scenic designer Matt Imhoff also back for the encore run. New to the creative team will be lighting designer Christian Specht. Further casting and creative team members will be announced in the coming weeks.

The recent run, which concluded August 14, was the first Off-Broadway revival of the play allowed by the Tennessee Williams estate. The southern storm of a play about greed, deceit, self-delusion, sexual desire, repression, homophobia, sexism, and the looming specter of death won the Pulitzer Prize in 1955. Ruth Stage's interpretation is set in an estate in the Mississippi Delta of Big Daddy Pollitt, a wealthy cotton tycoon. The play examines the relationships among members of Big Daddy's highly dysfunctional family, primarily between his son Brick and Maggie the "Cat," Brick's wife.
