Beau features a book and lyrics by Lyons (Chicken and Biscuits) and a score by Pakchar (Back to the Future) and Lyons. In the musical eight actor-musicians tell the story of Ace Baker, a young man whose life is altered when he discovers the grandfather his mother kept hidden is still alive.

Beau was cast by Robin Carus. Chris Gurr serves as musical director with Jared Lee as the music assistant and Sarah G. Harris as stage manager.

After a 2019 bow at the Adirondack Theatre Festival, Sony Masterworks Broadway released a recording of the musical. In 2021, Beau was filmed by TBD Pictures and subsequently screened at Dances with Films, Sedona International Film Festival, and other festivals.
