The Biltmore Theatre opened in 1925, designed by architect Herbert J. Krapp. Neil Simon’s Barefoot in the Park, starring Robert Redford, opened at the Biltmore, and the legendary rock musical Hair premiered here in 1968. Following a major renovation, the Biltmore Theatre stands today as the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre.
