Productions Plus is seeking a Theatrical Agent for a hybrid remote/in-office role in Bingham Farms, MI.

Summary:

Productions Plus is seeking a dynamic and experienced Theatrical Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in talent representation and a passion for the entertainment industry. As a Theatrical Agent, you will be responsible for scouting, managing, and promoting talented actors, ensuring they secure roles in various film and print production opportunities.

The candidate must possess the ability and experience to be immediately effective in their role. Ideal candidates will need minimal training and will have proven prior experience in entertainment/theatrical booking and social media networking. Ideal candidates can demonstrate an ability for diplomacy and efficacy under pressure and successful compliance with tight/multiple deadlines. A proactive, can-do, teamwork-driven attitude is a must.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Identify, recruit, and onboard new talent to expand the agency’s roster, conducting interviews, and assessing their suitability for various roles.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for talent, providing guidance, support, and career development opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their project needs and providing talent recommendations.
  • Match talent with client assignments and casting calls, ensuring the best fit for each opportunity.
  • Negotiate contracts, rates, and terms on behalf of talent and clients, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Promote talent to clients and casting directors through pitches, presentations, and submissions.
  • Organize and manage talent auditions, casting calls, and bookings.
  • Coordinate talent payments, track billing, and resolve any payment issues.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Theatrical Agent or in a similar talent representation role.
  • Extensive network of contacts within the entertainment industry.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Passion for the performing arts and a keen eye for talent.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Theatre, Performing Arts, or a related field is preferred.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance

Final candidate selection will be contingent on the successful completion of a pre-employment background check and subsequent background investigation. Selectee will be required to serve a 90-probationary period and participate in Direct Deposit for payment. Candidates must be U.S. employment eligible.

  • This is a full-time exempt salaried position with a salary range of $50,000.00-$55,000.00 annually.
