Job Type: Full Time Salary; exempt
Location: Gilbert, Arizona
Salary range: $55,000 - $65,000 annually
Hale Centre Theatre - Arizona is seeking a Scenic Supervisor to join the production team producing work for our main stages, Monday/ Tuesday productions and concert hall programs. The Scenic Supervisor is an integral part of the production team responsible for supervising the day-to-day production, development, and installation of theatrical scenery for all productions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, Build, Weld
- Interpret and execute set drawings
- Supervise and train carpenters
- Assist on load-ins
- Warehouse help

Skills:
- Must have set building experience in a professional theater for a minimum of 2 years.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong carpentry skills
- Strong welding skills
- Strong time management skills
- Team Management skills
- AutoCAD experience preferred

Work Schedule:
Shop Hours M-F 9am-6pm; attend tech and preview performances as needed, attend producer run throughs as needed. Some evenings, weekends and holidays will be required.

SALARY

$55,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
