DESCRIPTION

Global Impact Productions produces outdoor adventure events, including single- and multi-day rides and walks, to benefit non-profit organizations. We bring top production values, typically seen in marquis branded events, to small- and mid-size non-profit organizations.

BRAKING AIDS® Ride is one of Global Impact’s signature events. This fully-supported, two-day ride from Philadelphia to New York City raises critically-needed funds to support the non-profit Housing Works. Details are available at www.brakingaidsride.org.

We are looking for part-time Recruiters in both New York City and Philadelphia. The Recruiter is a contract position. The position will last approximately four to six months from winter through spring, 2024. This person will go to designated outreach venues to generate interest in, excitement about, and registrations for, BRAKING AIDS® Ride. The Recruiter reports to the Rider Coaches and the President.

The Recruiter will have primary responsibility, with strong guidance from the Company staff, for generating hot leads for BRAKING AIDS® Ride, and will assist the Rider Coaches in follow-up with these leads, with the goal of converting them to registered riders.

Responsibilities will include:

· Working with the Rider Coaches to identify and confirm venues for opportunities to do outreach

· Attending outreach events and ensuring all needed supplies are available, the presentation of the venue is according to brand standards, and that any volunteers helping on site are trained and comfortable with their roles.

· Taking the lead at any outreach events where other Global Impact staff is not present.

· Promptly reporting back all information requests and registrations to the Rider Coaches.

· As requested by the Rider Coaches, assisting them with any needed follow-up.

Qualifications:

· Must be 21+ (Some venues will be bars and clubs)

· 2+ years of college or related experience

· Excellent verbal communication skills

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

· Ability to remain organized while multi-tasking

· A cooperative spirit and eagerness to “get the job done”

· Comfortable striking up conversations with strangers

· Self-starter

· Creativity and an ability to think outside the box

· Ability to remain focused amidst distractions

These positions are based in New York City and Philadelphia.

Time commitment: Varies; roughly 5-10 hours/week, primarily evenings and weekends.
