DESCRIPTION

Big League Productions (BLP) seeks technical submissions for the upcoming 2024/2025 national tour of CHER SHOW: THE MUSICAL. BLP is seeking resumes in all the following departments:

Head Carpenter – This role will be a leadership position, and the candidate must have experience touring and working with set electrics. Must have prior experience leading a crew.

Though each role will take on different responsibilities, all stagehands will assist in various parts of load in, load out, set-up, and tear-down of the production elements (rigging, trussing, automation systems, lighting, video, audio, wardrobe) related to the touring production in theatrical and arena venues. All positions will be working with local stagehands, onboarding them in an efficient manner.

DATES:

November 2024 through May 2025.

The tour will play one-week engagements, though there are many split-week and one-night performances (and a couple layoff weeks) sprinkled throughout the itinerary. Some departments will have shop prep that precedes tech, most likely starting in late October.

QUALIFICATIONS:

BLP seeks strong team players, with the ability to work well under pressure.

Previous touring experience, while not mandatory, is preferred.

A valid US driver's license is required.
The ability to lift up to 50 lbs., push/pull 100lbs, stand for extended periods of time (3+ hours), navigate multiple levels of stairs.
Vaccination against COVID-19 is required, except for those with a documented medical or religious exemption.

COMPENSATION:
All positions will be contracted under an IATSE “S” Touring Agreement.

Pinks start at IATSE “S” minimums (increases to minimum are based on experience)

Pre-production work will be negotiated separately as needed.

Hotels and per diem provided on the road.
