Director Michael Grandage told the Daly Mail that he and business partner James Bierman have plans to adapt and expand the play about the woman who cracked DNA into a major motion picture. "It's going to be a proper picture," Grandage said.
There had been speculation that Kidman's draw to the project was that it would make a natural translation to film. She stars as pioneering molecular biologist Dr. Rosalind Franklin, the woman whose research led to the understanding of DNA structure.
Grandage previously responded to questions of a Broadway transfer for the production.
