Hulu's Only Murders in the Building continues to pack its cast list with Broadway's best. The upcoming third season will feature Wesley Taylor (SpongeBob SquarePants), three-time Tony nominee Linda Emond (Cabaret), and Jeremy Shamos (Meteor Shower) in recurring roles according to a report in Deadline. The season is expected to debut this summer, though a date has not yet been revealed.
They are among a surprisingly large list of actors joining the series in new characters, along with fellow Broadway alums Meryl Streep, Jesse Williams, Ashley Park, Vanessa Aspillaga, Adina Verson, Ryan Broussard, and Andrea Martin. The first two seasons featured stage favorites Steve Martin, Martin Short, Jackie Hoffman, Jayne Houdyshell, Nathan Lane, Tina Fey, and Ali Stroker.
The comedic thriller's third season will take its heroes out of their Arconia home in NYC's Upper West Side and take them into the theatre. The final moments of the series' second season teased opening night of Oliver Putnam (Short)'s new play, with Rudd's Ben Glenroy collapsing onstage moments after the curtain rises.
