News Watch #TappyTroops Honor Veterans on the Intrepid (Video) In honor of Veterans Day, choreographer, director and dancer Christopher Rice (The Book of Mormon) created a tap-dancing salute to those who gave so much for their country.

Rice is joined by Aaron Albano (Here Lies Love, Newsies), Clay Thomson (Matilda the Musical, Newsies), Natasha Scearse (White Christmas), Kelly Sheehan (42nd Street, White Christmas) and Sasha Hutchings (Rocky, Motown).

The #TappyTroops video was filmed in 2014 aboard the WWII aircraft carrier and National Historic Landmark, the Intrepid, which was converted to the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum in its permanent Hudson River location directly west of the Times Square theatre district in New York.

Dressed as WWII pilots and 1940s women, the cast dance to a new music remix by DJ Chelli.

"We created this video to thank, honor, and entertain the millions of veterans who have given so much to protect our country," Rice said in a statement. "There are plenty of things out there that can bring you down. As performers, it is our job and our passion to put our talents into something that lifts people up."
