Hamilton Tony nominee Phillipa Soo stars in the new Broadway musical Amélie, now in previews at the Walter Kerr Theatre. Take a look above at a sneak peek from the production, featuring the Daniel Messé and Nathan Tysen number “Times Are Hard for Dreamers.”

In addition to Soo, the cast features Adam Chanler-Berat as Nino and Tony nominee Tony Sheldon as Dufayel and Collignon, as well as David Andino, Randy Blair, Heath Calvert, Alison Cimmet, Savvy Crawford, Manoel Felciano, Harriett D. Foy, Alyse Alan Louis, Maria-Christine Oliveras, and Paul Whitty.

Based on the 2001 French film of the same name, Amélie tells the story of a young woman who improvises small yet surprising acts of kindness for strangers throughout Paris. The production, directed by Pam MacKinnon and featuring a book by Craig Lucas, will open officially April 3.
