National Tour News Washington, D.C.'s National Theatre Announces 2022-23 Season

Kicking off in July, Broadway at the National will welcome the touring companies of SIX, Tina: The Tina Turner Musical, Aladdin, and more.

Washington, D.C.'s National Theatre has announced its 2022-23 Broadway at the National season, including SIXTina: The Tina Turner MusicalA Christmas CarolJagged Little PillAladdin, and Beetlejuice in the six-show tour subscription series, with additional options in Chicago, Cats, and My Fair Lady.

The season launches July 5, with Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss' pop musical SIX about the wives of Henry VIII, followed by Tina: The Tina Turner Musical, beginning October 4. A Christmas Carol, a reimagined version of the classic Dickens' tale from Tony winners Jack Thorne and Matthew Warchus, will open November 29. 

The show that brought Alanis Morissette's music to center stage, Jagged Little Pill, stops at the National March 14, 2023, then the Disney classic Aladdin on April 19. The six-show series will close with a trip to the netherworld as Beetlejuice opens May 16.

Season subscribers can also add ChicagoCats, and My Fair Lady to their packages. The first will open November 15. Cats and My Fair Lady will open January 11 and April 6, respectively.

Single tickets to shows will be made available at a later date.
