PREVIEWS→ Dame Helen Mirren has a knack — an Oscar and Olivier Award-winning knack — for portraying Queen Elizabeth II. Mirren first donned the crown for the film "The Queen," Peter Morgan's tale of how the British monarchy dealt with the death of the beloved Princess Diana. In The Audience, which comes to Broadway direct from London, Morgan is once again exploring the British kingdom with Mirren as his monarchy muse, this time to examine the long-held secret weekly meetings between Elizabeth and her sitting Prime Ministers. GO→ Cinderella's onstage lovers Laura Osnes and Santino Fontana reunite at Avery Fisher Hall to sing the theatre's most beloved love songs, just in time for Valentine's Day! The set list promises tunes from West Side Story, Carousel, Follies, Guys and Dolls, Ragtime, She Loves Me and more sung by the Tony-nominated pair backed by the New York Philharmonic. GO→ Tony winner Laura Benanti leads the cast of Jason Robert Brown and Alfred Uhry's 1999 musical Parade. Joshua Henry, Ramin Karimloo, Andy Mientus, Katie Rose Clarke and John Ellison Conlee join the parade for the one-night-only concert version of the musical based on the infamous 1913 murder trial and subsequent lynching of Leo Frank. OPENING→ Hamilton, the much-buzzed-about second musical from Tony-winning In the Heights creator Lin-Manuel Miranda, arrives at its debut home, the Public Theater. The new musical infuses history — namely the rise and fall of founding father Alexander Hamilton — with a unique blend of hip-hop beats, pop and classical sounds.
