The 7th Voyage of Egon Tichy [redux] has been extended at Off-Broadway's New York Theatre Workshop. Originally scheduled until January 19, the original run quickly sold out; it will now run until February 2, with in-person and livestream tickets available.

The show—created by director Jonathan Levin, playwright Josh Luxenberg, and performer Joshua William Gelb—was first performed in the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic and ensuing theatre shutdown. At that time, Gelb performed the one-person piece in his tiny New York apartment with his Levine using digital tricks to make it look like Gelb was interacting with himself and to have multiple scenes play simultaneously. The show was then streamed it to viewers as part of the Theater in Quarantine series. Now 7th Voyage has been expanded into an in-person production, where Gelb plays an astronaut who is stuck in a time loop and encounters multiverse versions of himself.

The production is running as part of the 2025 Under the Radar Festival of experimental theatre, and is produced by the Lucille Lortel Theatre, Sinking Ship, and Theater in Quarantine. The show is running at NYTW's Fourth Street Theatre.

Based on the story by Stanislaw Lem, The 7th Voyage of Egon Tichy [redux] is created by director Jonathan Levin, playwright Josh Luxenberg, and performer Joshua William Gelb. The creative team includes Peiyi Wong (set and costume design), Marika Kent (lighting design), Jesse Garrison (video design), Florian Staab (original music and sound design), Jonathan Levin (props design) and Carly Levin (production manager and line producer).
