Casting has been revealed for MasterVoices' upcoming season finale concert presentation of Gilbert and Sullivan's Iolanthe, playing Carnegie Hall May 3. MasterVoices Artistic Director and Tony winner Ted Sperling will be at the baton.

Leading the cast will be Jason Danieley, Phillip Boykin, Schyler Vargas, Shereen Ahmed, and Ashley Fabian. The evening will also include the 120-member MasterVoices chorus.

The comic opera, first performed in 1882, centers on its titular character, a fairy banished from fairyland for marrying a mortal. A case of mistaken identity leads to a battle between London's House of Peers and the fairies, all while satirizing British government and society.
