London's National Theatre has revealed full casting for their upcoming world premiere run of Nye by Tim Price. It's set to play the company's Olivier Theatre beginning February 24 ahead of a March 6 opening night. A co-production with Wales Millenium Centre, the run will continue through May 11, with Rufus Norris (Small Island) at the helm.

As previously announced, Michael Sheen will star as Aneurin "Nye" Bevan in the work charting the creation of Britain's National Health Service. Described as an "epic Welsh fantasia," the work sees Nye on his deathbed revisiting the events of his life, from a childhood mining underground to fights with Winston Churchill.

Also appearing in the cast will be Remy Beasley, Roger Evans, Jon Furlong, Stephanie Jacob, Kezrena James, Tony Jayawardena, Rebecca Killick, Rhodri Meilir, and Sharon Small. Newly announced for the company are Matthew Bulgo, Dyfan Dwyfor, Ross Foley, Daniel Hawksford, Bea Holland, Michael Keane, Nicholas Khan, Oliver Llewellyn-Jenkins, Mark Matthews, Ashley Mejri, Lee Mengo, David Monteith, Mali O’Donnell, and Sara Otung. Casting is by Alastair Coomer and Chloe Blake.

Norris's creative team includes set designer Vicki Mortimer, costume designer Kinnetia Isidore, lighting designer Paule Constable, co-choreographers Steven Hoggett and Jess Williams, composer Will Stuart, sound designer Donato Wharton, and projection designer Jon Driscoll.

The production will move to Wales Millennium Centre following the National run for performances May 18-June 1. Sheen will reprise his performance.
