International News See Who's Joining Bertie Carvel and Patsy Ferran in The Old Vic's Pygmalion

Richard Jones will direct the classic George Bernard Shaw comedy at the London theatre.

Full casting has been revealed for The Old Vic's upcoming revival of George Bernard Shaw's Pygmalion. As previously announced, the Richard Jones-directed production will be led by Olivier winners Bertie Carvel (InkMatilda) and Patsy Ferran (A Streetcar Named Desire) as Professor Henry Higgins and Eliza Doolittle, respectively. The production runs September 6–October 28, with opening night set for September 19. 

Joining Carvel and Ferran will be Lizzy Connolly as Clara Eynsford Hill, Grace Cookey-Gam as Mrs. Eynsford Hill, Penny Layden as Mrs. Pearce, Sylvestra Le Touzel as Mrs. Higgins, Michael Gould as Colonel Pickering, John Marquez as Alfred Doolittle, Taheen Modak as Freddy Eynsford Hill, and Kieran Smith as Aristid Karpathy. Rounding out the company in the ensemble will be Steven Dykes, Liz Jadav, Caroline Moroney, and Rohan Rakhit. Casting is by Jessica Ronane.

The production will feature design by Stewart Laing, lighting by Adam Silverman, sound by Tony Gayle, composition and arrangement by Will Stuart, movement by Sarah Fahie, dialect by William Conacher, voice by Charlie Hughes-D’Aeth, costume supervision by Sarah Bowern, and wigs, hair, and make-up supervision by Keisha-Paris Banya.
