Reviews are rolling out for Noah Diaz's You Will Get Sick which opened its world premiere run November 6 at Roundabout's Laura Pels Theatre in the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre. The Off-Broadway limited engagement began previews October 14 for a run through December 11. Read the reviews and a get a first look at the production below.

Daniel K. Isaac (Billions) plays a young man who receives a life-changing diagnosis and hires an older woman, played by Tony winner Linda Lavin, to tell the news to his love ones. The decision reshapes both of their lives. The cast is completed by Nate Miller (Junk), Dario Ladani Sanchez (Selling Kabul), and Marinda Anderson (sandblasted).

Tony nominee Sam Pinkleton directs the production which features set design by dots, costumes by Alicia Austin, lighting by Cha See, sound design Lee Kinney, and illusions by Skylar Fox.

Lavin and Pinkleton last worked together on the 2012 Broadway premiere of The Lyons. Lavin's additional stage credits include The Tale of the Allergist’s Wife, The Last of the Red Hot Lovers, The Diary of Anne Frank, and Broadway Bound—which earned the performer a Tony nod for Best Actress in a Play.
