Tectonic Theater Project held their annual benefit A Tectonic Cabaret October 21 at Current (Pier 59 Chelsea Piers), which saw performances from a host of stage favorites, outgoing Broadway Cares Executive Director Tom Viola being honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award, and more. Directed by Timothy Koch, under the artistic supervision of Moisés Kaufman, and with musical direction by Anna Ebbesen, the evening also honored theatre and film producer Gigi Pritzker (with the James C. Hormel Spirit of Tectonic Award) and two-time Tony nominee Colman Domingo (with the Jane Fonda Award).

The honorees were celebrated with performances from countertenor Anthony Roth Costanzo, Claybourne Elder (Company), Alyssa Fox (Frozen), spoken word artist Prentice Powell, Ryan VanDenBoom (MJ: The Musical), Sasha Velour (Velour: A Drag Spectacular), and Françise Voranger and the Hybrid Movement Company.
Proceeds from the cabaret will benefit Tectonic Theater Project’s development of new works and education through the Moment Work Institute.
