Patrick Page will star in Red Bull Theater Company's new workshop production of Titus Andronicus later this month, as a part of the company's 20th Anniversary Festival season. Staged May 10 and 11, the tickets are available now.
Directed by Red Bull founder and Artistic Director Jesse Berger, the piece will also feature Isabel Arraiza, Teagle F. Bougere (The Crucible, A Raisin in the Sun), Jason Bowen (The Play That Goes Wrong), Kelley Curran (The Gilded Age), Clifton Duncan (The Play That Goes Wrong), Nate Miller (Peter and the Starcatcher, Junk), Alfredo Narciso (The Motherf**ker with the Hat, Time and the Conways), Zachary Lopez Roa, and Derek Smith (The Lion King, The Green Bird).
Paul Hudson will serve as lighting designer for the three workshop performances, with one show on May 10, and two on May 11.
"What a pleasure to do a deep dive into this powerful play with some of the finest actors in NYC. Since Red Bull was founded, people have often asked me when we would tackle what may be Shakespeare's bloodiest and most Jacobean-in-spirit play. The time is now!," shared Red Bull founder and artistic director Berger. "This is a rare opportunity to hear the play, which, in addition to pathos and gorgeous dramatic poetry, also offers a surprising number of laughs and theatrical thrills."
