Off-Broadway's The Tent will host a one-night only benefit performance of Wit and Wisdom: Readings from the great writings on the outrage, the interest, the pleasure, the amusement, amazement and abundance of the extraordinary phenomenon of getting older December 9.
Compiled by Vivian Gornick and Nora Eisenberg, the reading will be directed by Eileen Phelan. Performers will include Quincy Tyler Bernstine, Kathleen Chalfant, John Ellison Conlee, Taylor Mac, Alfredo Narciso, and others to be announced.
Tickets are $175 and can be purchased via The Tent’s website. All proceeds will benefit The Tent and are tax deductible. The reading will be approximately one hour, with a wine and cheese reception to follow.
