Regional News Original Miss Saigon Star Cast in Dream Theater’s Legally Blonde The musical based on the Reese Witherspoon movie will begin performances at the New Jersey venue in January 2018.

Willy Falk, who was Tony-nominated for his performance as Chris opposite Tony winner Lea Salonga in the original Broadway production of Miss Saigon, will play Professor Callahan in Dream Theater’s production of Legally Blonde, which begins performances January 26, 2018, in New Jersey.

Directed and choreographed by Dream Theater Executive Artistic Director Bernard J. Solomon, the cast will also feature Katie Claire McGrath as Elle Woods, Anthony Crouchelli as Warner Hungtington III, Zach Miller as Emmett Forrest, Alexandra Vecchio as Vivienne Kensington, Julie Galorenzo as Paullette, Stephanie Anne Christian as Kate/Chutney, Nicole Howell as Serena, Rachel Ann Raeon as Margot, Susan Ramirez as Pilar, and Vanessa Sierra as Brooke Wyndham.

The ensemble includes Brandon Arias, Anthony Bruno, Kayla Starr Bryan, Aziza Callahan, Amanda Chiappetta, Johari Menelik Frasier, Megan Lynn Garretson, Brian Keith Graziani, Brett Hennessey Jones, Bri Ryder, Andrew Santiago, Daniel Sims, Kelsey Snedecker, Phillip Solomon, Joseph Tible, and Carolyn Vicari.

Legally Blonde has music and lyrics by Laurence O'Keefe and Nell Benjamin and a book by Heather Hach. The creative team also includes music director David Maglione, scenic designer Robert Andrew Kovach, lighting designer Zach Pizza, assistant choreographer Brett Hennessy Jones, and associate music director Jarred Lee. Jackie Mariani serves as the production stage manager.

Performances continue through January 28 at The Union County Performing Arts Center, located in Rahway, New Jersey. Tickets range in price from $10 to $20 and are available online at DreamTheatreProductions.org or by calling (908) 497-7082.
