With an official opening night slated for Sept. 10, performances are set to continue through Sept. 26.

The cast features Broadway child stars Frenie Acoba (Matilda) and Luka Kain (South Pacific) as well as Birgit Huppuch (Blood Play), Deirdre O’Connell (By the Water), Marcel Spears (A Midsummer Night’s Dream) and Danny Wolohan (An Octoroon).

The characters in Judy may be living in the year 2040, but not much has changed. Timothy's wife has just left him and in an attempt to cope with the separation, he and his sisters are spending a mysterious amount of time together in the basement. The kids are beginning to ask questions. Described by Page 73 as a "subterranean comedy," the play "explores how one family hangs on when technology fails and communication breaks down."

Posner was the 2012 P73 Playwriting Fellow, a 2013 MacDowell Colony Fellow and is currently writer-in-residence at Williamstown. He received the 2011 Heideman Award from Actors Theatre of Louisville and the 2015 Helen Merrill Emerging Playwright Award.
