News New Barbra Streisand Autobiography Will Correct "Myths" Superstar Barbra Streisand is planning to publish a new memoir in 2017, according to a report in The New York Times.

The singer/actress/director, who last appeared on Broadway in 1965's Funny Girl, but who remains a Broadway icon, reportedly is seeking to correct errors that have appeared and been repeated in the dozens of previous books about her life.

Viking Press will put out the tome. Viking president and publisher Brian Tart was quoted saying the previous books are “full of myths and inaccuracies, and she is finally going to tell her own story.”

No further details were immediately available, except that the new book will cover her entire career, from Greenwich Village Clubs, to Broadway, to Hollywood, to her concert and recording career.
