NBC Cancels "Best Time Ever" – Neil Patrick Harris, "I'm Proud of What We Did - Live!" | Playbill

News NBC Cancels "Best Time Ever" – Neil Patrick Harris, "I'm Proud of What We Did - Live!" NBC has opted to cancel the television variety series "Best Time Ever with Neil Patrick Harris" after a single season, according to Deadline Hollywood.

Harris tweeted his response:

The hour-long show, adapted from the British variety series "Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway," was a festival of high-energy stunts and gags. It debuted Sept. 15 to respectable ratings, but was moved into different time slots several times during its two-month first season, ending up at 9 PM Tuesdays, where it failed to draw enough viewers to warrant renewal.
