Bartlett Sher directs Sharr White's adaptation of the photo memoir by Larry Sultan at Studio 54.

Pictures From Home, Sharr White's adaptation of Larry Sultan's photo memoir of the same name, completes its run at Broadway's Studio 54 April 30. The strictly limited engagement opened February 9 following the beginning of previews January 13. 

Starring in the three-hander drama are Tony winners Nathan Lane (A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, The Producers) and Danny Burstein (Moulin Rouge!, Fiddler on the Roof) and Tony nominee Zoë Wanamaker (Awake and Sing!). The new play follows Larry, played by Burstein, and his parents Irving and Jean as they journey from Brooklyn to the San Fernando Valley. Along the way, Larry documents the experience and his parents through photographs.

Tony-winning director Bartlett Sher (Camelot, To Kill a Mockingbird) helms the production, which features set design by Michael Yeargan, costume design by Jennifer Moeller, lighting design by Jennifer Tipton, sound design by Scott Lehrer and Peter John Still, and projection design by Ben Pearcy at 59 Productions.

The work was previously developed by New York Stage and Film in 2019 with director Danielle Tool, and received a developmental reading at Houston's Alley Theatre in 2020 directed by Rob Melrose.
